Barefoot Bay Marina and Resort is a family friendly waterfront resort located at the FM 1520 bridge on Lake Bob Sandlin. The property is just 4 miles west of Pittsburg, Texas on the south side of the Lake. The marina has been in continuous operation since 1980 and sits in Barefoot Bay. The property consists of a full service convenience store and sports bar, 40 covered wet slips, 80 RV spaces with men’s and women’s restrooms, a dump station, 6 cabins and a boat ramp. We have RV supplies and offer free air and water. Barefoot Bay Marina has a beach and swimming area, fishing areas & pier, sand volleyball and horseshoe pits. The convenience store has hot food, beer & wine, ice, drive up and dock side gasoline and all major convenience items as well as a fishing tackle section. We carry a wide array of live bait as well as top of the line bass fishing baits and soft plastics. The property is under new ownership as of September 1, 2011 and has been newly-renovated. Lake Bob Sandlin is a beautiful lake and fisherman’s paradise. The lake offers year around fishing and has the best angling opportunities of any lake in Texas. Fishing for largemouth bass, crappie and catfish is exceptional.
Monticello Cove on Lake Bob Sandlin was voted best fishing hole in Upper East Texas by County Line Magazine.
Eagles can be spotted in the winter months, a variety of birds and wildlife can be spotted year around. Birding is becoming quite popular on our new nature trail. There is something for everyone at Barefoot Bay Marina. Come have some fun in the sun with us.
